ABOUT FLOURISH Sistahood
Flourish Sistahood is the culmination of the prayers and visions of Kimberly Yeung and Kira Augustine. Two best friends who felt separate tugs on their hearts from the Lord. Kira felt called to create an online ministry for women that covered living every area of life for the Lord, while Kim was having visions of creating a Christ-centered community that provided deep, authentic friendships for women. The two women shared their ideas with each other and prayed on what it would look like to combine the two ideas together. In January 2022 Flourish Sistahood was born as a community that offered online Bible studies, in-person community events, and an online platform to grow women closer to God and flourish in every area of life as God intends.

Our Values:
We believe that each and every person has infinite value in christ and loved by Him. Jesus shows that we were worth His very life. Through Him, we are set free from our sins and given a new hope and a new purpose. And now, God has called each of us to tell others about the good news of Jesus Christ and to share our own story of transformation.
As we love and serve others, we are better able to reach one person for Christ. We Believe Through one person, we can reach a family. By reaching a family, we can reach a city. And by reaching a city, we can reach a nation. By reaching a nation, we can then impact the world.
What We Believe:
Jesus Christ was virgin-born, sinless, died on the cross for sins, on the third day was raised from the dead and is coming again. (Matthew1:18, Hebrews 4:15, 1 Corinthians 15:3-4, John 14:3).
Salvation is a gift, bestowed by God's grace and received by faith (Ephesians 2:8-9).
A believer's salvation is secured by Christ alone (1 John 4:9-10).
Immersion in water of a professed believer is the Bible baptism (Acts 8:36-39)
such baptism is symbolic of Christ's death, burial and resurrection (Romans 6:1-4).
The church is the bride of Christ (Ephesians 5:23-33)
The church is the body of Christ (1 Corinthians 12).
Christians are endowed with spiritual gifts which enable them to minister in the church (Romans 12:4-8).
The Holy Spirit, whom every believer receives at conversion (Ephesians 1:13-14), leads and guides us.

Founder/ CEOKira felt a calling to ministry as a senior in high school and has been outworking that calling in several different ministries over the past eight years. In 2020, she received her BA in Religion from Pepperdine University and currently serves Flourish Sistahood full time. She, her husband and two sons enjoy living in Southern California where they love spending time with their friends and eating great food.

FounderKimberly is passionate about encouraging people in all stages of life in pursing their gifts and passions within and beyond the walls of the church. Her passion for ministry began in high school as a youth group leader and continued to grow as she led a women’s bible study during her time at Pepperdine. After spending some time in youth ministry post college, Kimberly is currently a business professional where she helps people find their career within the law industry. In her free time, she enjoys playing tennis, traveling, and hitting up for the best coffee shops in town.

Director of StrategySkylar is incredibly gifted at making ideas and dreams come to life! She is a developing public speaker and recent graduate who has a passion for helping people to thrive! Through practical teaching and honest conversations, Skylar hopes to inspire others towards actions that will benefit them in the long run. More than anything else, Skylar wants others to know their worth and value and believe that they are priceless.

Social Media ManagerEsther is a social media genius who works in the music industry and loves using social media to tell meaningful stories, build authentic community, and glorify God through all of it. Whether backstage at a show or behind a content calendar, she shows up with heart, hustle and purpose- especially in uplifting women. In her free time, she loves to sing, hike and read.
